3 pm to 10 pm Trip to Rothenburg


Your coach & qualified English speaking guide will pick you up at the Maritim hotel in Wuerzburg at 2:00 pm to start the tour to the medieval jewel of Germany – the city of Rothenburg o.d. Tauber.

The city wall, the fortifications and towers haven´t changed since the thirty years war in the 17th century. The cobblestone streets, the halftimbered houses, the historic market square will impress you as well as the wood carved altar by the famous Tilman Riemenschneider you will see inside the Jacob´s church. You will have some time on your own, where you have to visit the Käthe Wohlfarth world of Christmas, where you can get Christmas goods all around the year.

After a dinner with typical franconian specialities we will go back to your hotel in Wuerzburg.
