You reach the Augenzentrum from Würzburg central railway station (Hbf) walking (900m) through the Kaiserstrasse and Schönbornstrasse to the Market Place, there go left to the Eichhornstrasse
or go by tram for two stops (Tram-line 1, 3 or 5) from Hauptbahnhof Würzburg in direction Sanderau, Heidingsfeld orRottenbauer, exit „Dom“, then go back 100m to the Eichhornstr.

Prof. Dr. Schrader has been selected as one of the top-physicians in Germany by the news-magazine Focus in 2017 again, for the 8th time in succession.
Prof. Dr. Schrader has been rewarded for his acitivities in research and teaching with the title of a professor of honour (Prof. honorificum senatus) of the medical faculty of the University of Iassi, Romania, in 2005, with the Meyer-Schwickerath-Award of the German Diabetic Society in 2006, and with the Helen Keller Lecture and the Ocular Trauma Award of the Helen Keller Foundation and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) in 2012.
Prof. Dr. Schrader is Vice President of the International Society of Ocular Trauma.
His engagement in the teaching of young ophthalmologists has been rewarded with the DOC Award in Bronce in 2010 and 2013. For his exceptional engagement he received the Award in Gold by the Society of the German Ophthalmic Surgeons in 2011.

Monday, November 17, 2014:
Prof. Dr. Schrader has started as a consultant at the Augenzentrum Würzburg (outpatient treatments as chairman of the vitreoretinal department and inpatient treatments as chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Rotkreuzklinik in Würzburg) with a huge success since July 2014.
Appointments for inpatient treatments can be made with the Augenzentrum Würzburg.
He resumed his work at the Maximilians Augenklinik in Nürnberg in May 2014.
