As there are two railway stations at the airport (the other one is for local trains only: „Regionalbahnhof“), take care that you follow the signs to the long distance trains. You will enter a covered bridge. If your travel agent has not booked train tickets for you, you can buy them at the Travel Center (see signs), at the DER Travel agency on the covered bridge or at the Servicepoint above the railway platforms.

Between 5:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. there are direct trains at least once an hour usually leaving from platform 4 (direction Würzburg - Nürnberg).
